The consultation starts by showing you how to look at you home through buyer's eyes
Many clients have the time and energy to stage their own home (YAY!), but they are not sure where to start or how to evaluate their space impartially. We can save you time and energy by guiding you through the home staging process with a laser focus on maximizing your home's appeal.
Let's do this!
During the consultation we walk the entire property to honestly and thoroughly evaluate your home's:
- over all appeal and "first impression"
- layout and room flow
- color palatte
- current furniture and accessories to determine what's working and what's not
- lighting needs
- organization, decluttering, and depersonalization needs
- necessary repairs or minor renovations that will improve home value or salability
During this time we will create room designs in real time for key rooms so you can see what furniture arrangements are possible. We will offer suggestions on any furniture or accessory purchases, as needed. We will answer all questions.
If time allows, we will begin the organization/decluttering/depersonalization process and address exterior spaces like the home's entrances, porches, patios, decks, garages and landscaping.
*If needed, we can extend the consultation time at our hourly rate in increments of 15 minutes.
